Police are to focus on an area of Gorleston where reports of drug dealing and anti-social behaviour have been made.
Officers are focusing on Magnolia Green and combatting drug dealers and yobbish behaviour is a priority for beat officers.
As part of the clampdown PC Joe Pike carried out a routine patrol and he and other officers from Great Yarmouth Police are said to be "working to address these issues".
A statement on Great Yarmouth Police's social media feeds said: "The sun was shining over Magnolia Green in Gorleston when PC Joe Pike was doing his patrols.
"Sadly, the sun doesn’t always shine here and recently it’s been clouded by reports of drug dealing and anti-social behaviour, so much so it’s now one of our policing priorities.
"PC Pike and his colleagues will be working to address these issues raised by residents and we’ll keep you updated on their work and any results.
"But in the meantime, if you have any additional concerns or information which could help our efforts in targeting the people involved, please email Joseph.PIKE@norfolk.police.uk."
