It's been a successful year for Norfolk so far as a host of places have been voted among the best areas to live in the UK.

Aylsham was crowned the best place to live in the county and one of the best places to live in the whole of the UK by Muddy Stilettos and the Times.

The thriving market town is known as a foodie hub, with Bread Source, Biddy's Tearooms and Stamp Pizza being just a few of the local restaurants.

Norwich, King's Lynn and Great Yarmouth were included among the top 20 places to live in the UK in a national poll run by the review website iLiveHere.

Wells-next-to-the-sea has received its fair share of awards this year too as it was counted among the UK's coolest places to live and one of the most romantic destinations in the UK. 

North Norfolk's picturesque seaside town is well-known for its popular beach and colourful beach huts and is home to the award-winning restaurant Wells Crab House.
