Anglian Water has said they will investigate the damage caused by a sinkhole in Gorleston.
Police were called to Baker Street on Thursday afternoon after an HGV driver reported a sinkhole.
Barriers have since been installed around the two to three-metre-deep sinkhole, and the road is closed to through traffic.
An Anglian Water spokesperson said: "Upon initial inspection, the ‘sinkhole’ appears to be fairly minor.
"Our engineers will need to investigate further to understand if there is any damage to our sewer underneath, so we can plan the necessary repair."
