Police cadets have been educating off licensed premises and people in Great Yarmouth about the laws of buying alcohol for underage drinkers.
The Great Yarmouth Police Cadets were given special permission to stencil messages outside premises on the ground in temporary chalk-based paint to help shoppers understand the laws around buying alcohol for young people.
They also worked with off licence staff to carry out questionnaires about age restrictions and compliance.
The activities were part of Alcohol Awareness Week and were in conjunction with the local Community Alcohol Partnership.
A statement from Great Yarmouth Police said: "Great Yarmouth's police cadets were out last week educating the public and local off licences about the laws surrounding alcohol.
"Underage alcohol use, even within the home, can cause physical harm to developing bodies and minds, and increase the risk of vulnerability, exploitation, and anti-social behaviour."
The Alcohol Education Trust offers advice and guidance for parents, carers, and educators of young people about issues surrounding underage drinking.
