Developers of two separate bids to build homes on the coast will have to wait until next month for a decision on their proposals.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council has deferred making decisions on plans to build 41 houses on land north of Scratby Road in Scratby and 28 flats on Euston Road in Great Yarmouth.
Councillors will now discuss the proposals at a meeting of the development control committee on April 19.
Officers have recommended that both bids be delegated to the head of planning for approval.
