The Super Mario Brothers will be visiting Great Yarmouth's Britannia Pier for its grand re-opening this weekend.
The new owners of the Britannia Pier have been "full-on" since taking over the landmark in December and are throwing a special launch event on Saturday and Sunday to show off the new additions.
In time for the release of the new Super Mario Bros. Movie, the plumbing brothers - Mario and Luigi - will be roaming the pier over the weekend for photo opportunities.
Live entertainment will be held inside Long John's Back Pier, with Neil Francis appearing on Saturday afternoon and resident DJ Tomtee throwing a family disco on Sunday afternoon.
Crewmembers from Caister Lifeboat will also visit the pier on Saturday afternoon - ahead of the lifeboat's Jim Davidson fundraiser later in April.
After taking over "the Brit" in December, Joseph Manning and Joseph Abbott said they were not going to waste any time in bringing the Britannia back to its former glory.
The new owners have kitted out the arcade with new machines and fixtures, stationed a classic Citroen food van and installed traditional lighting along the decking to pay homage to its long history as an entertainment hub along the Golden Mile.
Co-owner Mr Abbott said: "It's been quite a lot of work. It's been nonstop since we took over and very full-on.
"And there's still a lot more to do to improve other areas of the pier. But we're looking forward to pushing it further.
"We just can't wait to see people coming to see the place."

Mr Abbott said improving the funfair at the end of the pier will be their next focus.
The Britannia Pier will be open from 10am until late on both days.
