Fans of Blondie and AC/DC are in for a treat as two local tribute bands take to the stage next month.

Let There Be Rock UK, an AC/DC tribute band, and UK Blondie will play a double header at an event run by music organisers The Room.

It will take place at the Ocean Room in Gorleston on April 15.

Last year, the bands helped The Room raise money for The Dock Tavern pub's charities.

Let There Be Rock UK cover the early years of vocalist Bon Scott, while UK Blondie came out of retirement to play last year's fundraiser and have offered to do one more gig for The Room this year.

At the previous charity gig, the bands, who are based in Lowestoft and Beccles, took to the stage in The Rooms' usual format based on the 'Later with Jools Holland' TV show.

This time each band will perform a set of more than one hour.
