Drone footage shows the complexities of one of the largest civil engineering projects in Norfolk as the first section of the third crossing bridge in Great Yarmouth was laid into place.
The footage shows the Eastern first leaf of the £121m project being lifted from a barge by the Dutch Matador 3 crane and inserted into position.
As engineers watched the section of the bridge settle into its new home the occasion was hailed as a "huge moment" for the town.
The Western leaf of the bridge is to be installed later today.
Last month work was halted on the bridge after workers discovered a 250kg Second World War bomb, which detonated as army experts worked to defuse it.
After a public vote, the new bridge is to be named Herring Bridge.
It is hoped that Herring Bridge will encourage further investment and development in the town as well as easing traffic on the A47.
Plans estimate that the bridge will be open to traffic by the summer.
See our website later for an update on the second leaf being lifted.
