A popular family funfair will be reopening in Great Yarmouth this weekend.

Joyland Children's Fun Park has announced it will be opening for the new season at 11am on Saturday, March 18, with its star ride, The Snails, making its return.

The seaside attraction has said it will be open for weekends only until the Easter holidays and then every day from then if the demand is high enough.

Entry to Joyland is free and visitors can buy tokens to be used with the rides.

Tokens are £2 each and all rides are one token per person.

Tokens are non-refundable but do not expire, so any tokens from previous years are still valid.

Joyland opened in 1949 as a children's fun park next to Britannia Pier and last year The Snails won bronze in the best historic ride category at the UK Theme Park Awards 2022.
