Preparations are gearing up for the return of an annual clifftop festival - with organisers issuing a plea for volunteers to get involved.
With this year's Gorleston Clifftop Festival taking place on July 29 and July 30, a "jam packed weekend" of fun for all the family is in store.
Ahead of that, and with 'festival makers' sought, a range of volunteering opportunities are available in various roles with the award-winning festival.
And to showcase these, two members of the Gorleston Clifftop Festival's organising committee attended the wellbeing and volunteering fair ran by the futures team at East Norfolk Sixth Form College earlier this month.
Students were able to speak with Vicky Webber - Gorleston Clifftop Festival event manager - and James Sinclair, children’s arena co-ordinator about the volunteering activities available at the event.
Mrs Webber, who has been involved with the event for 12 years, said: "The volunteering fair was a fantastic opportunity for us to speak directly to the students.
"This was naturally to encourage more volunteers to come forward so that future festivals can continue to happen but also to share our experiences of how volunteering has benefitted us."
Mr Sinclair, who has been involved for four years, said: "I think it is important to highlight the benefits and opportunities that volunteering can give to young people.
"Asking students what they were studying and then showing them how that can translate into roles within the festival seemed to give them a different perspective on volunteering."
Spaces are available on the organising committee, with help needed to set the event up on July 28 and to take everything down on July 31.
You can also support the smooth running over the festival weekend of July 29-30 by handing out programmes, facilities management and general stewarding.
