Three arrests have been made in Norfolk and West Yorkshire following the murder of a 23-year-old on the streets of Great Yarmouth.
The victim was stabbed to death in broad daylight in St Peter's Road on Wednesday (February 8) at about 12.40pm.
He was found collapsed in nearby Wellington Road and died at the scene of his injuries.
Two men, aged 21 and 43, were arrested in Leeds last night by West Yorkshire Police.
The 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder while the 43-year-old was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
Both men were held in custody at Leeds and Wakefield overnight before being brought back to Norfolk and will be questioned at Wymondham police station.
A third man, a 21-year-old from Loddon, was arrested today on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been taken to Wymondham police station for questioning.
A Home Office post-mortem examination established the cause of death to be a single stab wound to the chest. All cordons have now been lifted.
The victim’s family continue to be supported by specially trained officers and reassurance patrols will continue over the weekend.
