A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death in Great Yarmouth.
Emergency services were called to Wellington Road at 12.40pm following reports of a disturbance.
Police arrived to the scene to find a man with serious injuries.
Despite treatment, the man, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives believe the victim was involved in a confrontation with another man on St Peters Road.
No arrests have been made and the weapon remains outstanding.
Most cordons have been lifted and a small cordon remains in place on Wellington Road.
Det Insp Dave McCormack,who is leading the investigation, said: "A number of police resources, including armed units, were deployed to the scene.
"A murder investigation has been launched and we are in the early stages of our enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
"We would like to hear from anyone who may witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.”
