A retired woman in Gorleston has spoken out against damp conditions in her home.
The 75-year-old, who does not wish to be named, lives in a ground-floor flat on Leman Road, which is part of the Orbit Housing Association.
A tenant with the association since 2012, the woman contacted the housing association last year over mould and damp on her living room wall.
This comes as another Orbit tenant complained of damp in December and another recevied £5,500 in compensation after a slug infestation.
Despite reporting the problem in the summer, she claims the issue was not logged with the association until October after making repeated phone calls about the problem.
The tenant said: "I've been so angry with it all. I go to bed angry and I wake up angry.
"To get any repairs done seems nigh on impossible."
Orbit Housing Association has confirmed it was aware of the issue and working on a resolution.
The woman, who has had issues with bronchitis and chest infections, initially reported concerns to a housing officer however, she claims, nothing was resolved.
"The area's gone black and mildewed," she said. "I've bought a dehumidifier, I keep my windows open for two hours a day and I have the heating on. Nothing seems to touch it."
Since the initial complaints, the tenant has received two replacement fans for her kitchen and bathroom, as well as a new electrical socket and TV aerial socket. But the mould on the wall remains.
"They know about the problem," she said. "So why don't they just come and sort it?
"I've lately been told to ring every three days to chase it up. Why should I have to when I've already told them about the issue?"
A spokesperson from Orbit Housing said: "In the case of this property, an inspection was carried out on December 22 and this is being followed up with a full damp survey carried out by our specialist building pathology consultant to diagnose the cause of any issues and to establish the presence of any building defects that may be contributing.
"In the meantime, we have arranged for a mould wash, treatment and decoration of the problem areas whilst we wait for the results of the survey.
"We remain in regular contact with the customer and are closely monitoring the situation."
