A new gym based on a Great Yarmouth retail park has announced its official opening date.

PureGym will open its first branch in the town inside the former Argos unit on Pasteur Road Retail Park.

The 24-hour gym will open its doors on Friday, February 10, from noon.

The facility will bolster more than 220 pieces of equipment alongside a functional zone, free weights area and cardio equipment. Personal trainers will also be on hand to help with demonstrations and workouts.

A spokesperson for the national gym chain said: "We are delighted to be bringing flexible, affordable fitness to the town from February.

"The gym will be a fantastic facility for the people of Great Yarmouth and surrounding communities to enjoy PureGym’s low cost and zero contract memberships to help support their physical and mental wellbeing."
