A Caister pub has closed after reopening two months ago.
The Gate on High Street reopened under new management in November after it had previously closed the month before.
After taking over, the new landlords advertised events such as karaoke, World Cup matches and New Year's celebrations on The Gate's Facebook page.
However, by Wednesday morning, the pub was boarded up with metal gates over the doors and windows, with only wooden garden furniture remaining in the pub's courtyard.
The landlords have been contacted for comment, and Stonegate Group - the pub's owner - were unable to confirm the pub's closure.
Caister Parish Council chairman Tony Baker said the council is very disappointed to see the once prominent pub closed again.
"We're very disappointed The Gate has once again shut its doors to the public," Mr Baker said.
"As it is a large building in the middle of the village, it was important to everyone in the parish that the business was a success.
"It is very disappointing."
