The wait is almost over as a new fast food chain serving "gourmet" kebabs appears to be ready to open.
Finishing touches are being added to the interior of the new German Doner Kebab shop based at 19 Market Place in Great Yarmouth. A sign reading 'opening soon' has been displayed in the window.
There is currently no official opening date confirmed. German Doner Kebab has been contacted for comment.
Opening times are listed as Monday to Saturday, 11am until 11pm and Sunday from noon until 11pm.
Job vacancies are also currently listed online. Positions are available for front-of-house team members, back-of-house team members and shift leaders for both front and back-of-house.
The store, which was previously The Carpet Shop, had been originally scheduled to open in July 2022. However, months after initial refurbishments were started, the takeaway did not open in time for summer.
