Haven Bridge in Great Yarmouth will be temporarily closed overnight from today (January 3) for three weeks.
Repairs to the bridge's road surface will take place until January 25, from 8pm to 6am.
Traffic will be diverted via A1243 Pasteur Road, A47 Western Bypass, Acle New Road and B1141 North Quay.
Pedestrian access over the bridge will be maintained, except on nights when bridge test lifts are planned, but free shuttle buses will be provided for pedestrians on these nights.
The buses will be located at the Stonecutters Car Park on the east side of the bridge and the Matalan bus stop on the west side.
The bridge test lifts are being carried out as the major Haven Bridge upgrade project nears completion.
Breydon Bridge will remain open during this time.
It is expected the bridge will be back in normal operation by the end of January.
