A Christmas tree is helping to promote the message that the Great Yarmouth branch of the Samaritans is there for people 24/7.
The charity's town branch is taking part in the Christmas tree festival in Great Yarmouth Minster and hopes people will see its message that help and support is out there.
Jude Richardson, director at the branch, said: "At Great Yarmouth Samaritans we are hoping that the tree will remind people that our service is there for them throughout the festive period.
"Volunteers will be there to take calls 24 hours a day even on Christmas Day.
"While being a time of great joy for some, it can be a time of loneliness, isolation and unhappiness for others.
"Our freephone number is 116123 for anyone who is in need of a listening ear."
The Christmas Tree and Crib Festival finishes on Sunday.
