A former pub close to Great Yarmouth’s third river crossing development has failed to sell at an auction.
The two-storey Southgates Road property – formerly the Albert Tavern – has been converted into offices and four self-contained apartments.
It was up for auction on Wednesday, December 7, with a guide price of £350,000 - but did not sell.
The property will now go under the hammer again in the new year unless, in the meantime, a deal is struck outside outside the auction room.
Auction House East Anglia has described the property as “an excellent investment opportunity”.
Spread over two floors, it has three part-converted office suites on the ground floor and a two-bedroom flat with a large open-plan lounge/kitchen and a private bathroom.
On the first floor is an office, store room and three flats, each containing a kitchen, lounge and bathroom. One flat has two bedrooms with one en suite.
