Fireworks at Great Yarmouth's Christmas lights switch-on have been cancelled due to bad weather being forecast.
The town's festive market began today (December 2), and this evening's scheduled switch-on is still set to take place at 7pm.
However, due to weather conditions throughout the day and 30mph gusts on their way, Great Yarmouth Town Centre Partnership have had to cancel the firework display. fireworks display.
Writing on Twitter, a spokesman for the partnership said: "It is with great disappointment that we have to announce that this evening's firework display has had to be cancelled due to the weather."

The town's festive market at Brewery Plain car park is still expected to be open from 10am until 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
