Drivers are to face several days of disruption as overnight roadworks begin on the A47.
The major road will be closed in both directions between Acle and Great Yarmouth from today (November 28) until Saturday, December 3 between 8pm and 6am.
The engineering work, carried out by National Highways, aims to repair the carriageway from Acle roundabout to Vauxhall roundabout in Great Yarmouth.
An overnight closure of one lane of the A47 between Postwick and Brundall will also be in place from this evening (November 28) at 9pm until 5am tomorrow (November 29).
National Highways engineers will be working to repair barriers and fencing along this stretch of road.
The roadworks are part of an ongoing project to improve a number of sections of the A47, which includes duelling and junction improvements.
