A new swimming pool and leisure centre could be built at a holiday park on the coast.
Hemsby Beach Holiday Park, run by Richardsons Leisure Ltd, has applied to Great Yarmouth Borough Council to build a swimming pool complex and extension to its yacht club.
The proposal includes a new 25m swimming pool with a separate children’s pool, along with various water play features, a flume tower, sauna, changing facilities and gym.
The leisure centre would include ten-pin bowling.
The site is currently occupied by holiday accommodation and leisure facilities including a bowling green which would be demolished to make way for the new complex.
The new pool would be in the location of the original open-air pool.
A supporting document states that bookings at the park have "increased dramatically".
A decision on the bid is expected by January 9 next year.
