A trader on Great Yarmouth marketplace will be closing the book on her business at the end of this month.

Heather Jenner, the owner of Quality Books, began on the market in 1998. After 24 years, she has decided to go to "pastures new".

She said: "I'd really just like to say a massive thanks to all the loyal customers I have had over the years."

Quality Books is expected to close for the last time on Wednesday, November 30.
"But things can change," said Ms Jenner.

"It might be a bit before or a bit after."

She is selling off her existing stock and most books in the stall cost £1.50.

Quality Books is the first business to leave the marketplace since the first phase of its £4.7m revamp completed in June.

A spokesperson for Great Yarmouth Borough Council said: "Whilst we are doing our best to help find a suitable tenant to replace Quality Books, we need to ensure they complement our current traders and offer variety for our residents and visitors."
