FIVE men arrested following an incident on Great Yarmouth's seafront in which a 21-year-old man was stabbed in the neck have been bailed by police. The men were arrested on the suspicion of causing public order offences after a large brawl broke out on Marine Parade on Friday night.
FIVE men arrested following an incident on Great Yarmouth's seafront in which a 21-year-old man was stabbed in the neck have been bailed by police.
The men were arrested on the suspicion of causing public order offences after a large brawl broke out on Marine Parade on Friday night.
During the incident, the 21-year-old suffered a serious neck injury and was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Police said his condition was improving.
After the brawl broke out, the owner of the nearby Long Bar, Shane Butcher, and some of his staff helped police deal with the
incident and provided first aid to the injured man.
The five men arrested have been bailed to re-appear at Yarmouth police station in a month's time.
