Footballers will be kicking their heels once more after last weekend's matches were postponed due to the bone dry pitches.
Rock hard playing surfaces are creating an unacceptable injury risk to players, with games in current conditions also likely to cause long-term damage to the grass.
The decision has resulted in the cancellation of football matches in the Saturday and Sunday Great Yarmouth and District Leagues.
Gorleston's match with Norwich St John's at Emerald Park on Saturday will not be affected, as the pitch is not council owned.
