THERE'S still a chance to get tickets on the door on Friday night for the biggest brass band concert ever to take place at the Hippodrome. The Best of British will feature a combined Salvation Army band of over 70 musicians made up of the Norfolk Fellowship and Anglia Fellowship bands under their conductors David Woodrow and Ray Todd.
THERE'S still a chance to get tickets on the door on Friday night for the biggest brass band concert ever to take place at the Hippodrome.
The Best of British will feature a combined Salvation Army band of over 70 musicians made up of the Norfolk Fellowship and Anglia Fellowship bands under their conductors David Woodrow and Ray Todd. The familiar music and marches have all been inspired by places around the British Isles, and will also feature a Last Night of the Proms style section.
The Union Jack is being printed on the back page of the programme so there will no excuse when it comes to flag-waving! There will also be a salute to Remembrance Sunday.
Soloists include top tuba player Martin Blessett, who is travelling from Peterborough to take part and singers Joan Cook and Bram Bryant.
Tickets are just �6 and the concert, which starts at 7.30pm, is in aid of the BBC Radio Norfolk and Salvation Army Toys and Tins Christmas Appeal.
