A man in his 20s appeared in front of magistrates following a knife attack in Great Yarmouth over the weekend.
Reece Ellis, 25, of no fixed abode, was arrested Sunday morning following an incident at around 3.15am in Marine Parade in which another man in his 20s suffered stab wounds.
Ellis appeared at Norwich Magistrates this afternoon and his case was sent to the crown court for a further hearing on March 12.
He was remanded in custody and no pleas were taken.
Ellis was arrested along with two women and was subsequently charged with wounding with intent and being in possession of a knife.
A police spokesman said the victim was in a stable condition in hospital. Norwich Magistrates’ Court heard he had since been transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge
The two women have since been released, while police enquiries continue.
