ROPER JOHN EDWARD After a long illness bravely borne, John died peacefully at home on July 16th. Leaving behind his devoted wife Ann and his loving family. Forever in our thoughts and always in our hearts. The funeral will be held on Friday, August 2nd at The Minster Great Yarmouth at 2.30 p.m, followed by a private family cremation. Dear John was a breath of fresh air when he brought choral music to ordinary people like my parents and other members of my family in Gt Yarmouth in the 70's. He was a great character who will be missed.
