LEE ALAN Passed away peacefully at home on October 23rd, 2023, aged 72 years. Loving husband to Alison, Father to Eleanor and Hannah and a caring Brother, Stepfather and Grandfather. Alan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The funeral service will take place at Gorleston Crematorium on Thursday, November 9th at 1 p.m. Family flowers only please but, if desired, donations in memory of Alan are going to East Coast Community Healthcare and may be sent to Murrant Family Funeral Services, 14 The Green, Martham, NR29 4PA. Alan was the Commodore of the Lady Yacht Club for many years and was made president in October this year. He was hugely popular, respected and loved in the club which was started by his grandfather, Herbert Woods. Alan was only known to me through the club in which he worked tirelessly with the other members of the committee to ensure our events went smoothly. In addition, Alan was an accomplished sailor, always a great competitor in a half decker. I am sure I speak for the other members when I say he will be missed enormously. Sail on Alan.
