Sign in to add a tributeHe and I first met when he took over as senior dental technician in the dental lab where I worked. I was the apprentice and a difficult teenager with a bit of an attitude who dressed like a punk rocker. But John saw past all that. He trained me to be the best I could be at my job, and because I had lost my Dad at a very young age, John became THE positive role model in my life. He helped me through my apprentice examinations, helped me grow up, become a DIYer, become a home owner, organise my wedding and be a father. He continued to encourage and support me when I studied for a degree, and through my teacher training. Never doubting that I would get there eventually.
We had some great times during our 18 years of working together.
He will most definitely be missed by many, but we will all remember the good times and everything he did to help those around him. x
