COURSE DOROTHY EVA “Dot” (nee Applegate) August 8th, 2022. At home in Waltham House, Wirksworth, with body donated to medical science, as she wished. Aged 98. Born and raised in Great Yarmouth. Much-loved mother to Lindy, Hilary, Sally, Candy, and Steven, grandmother to Jenna, James and Jango, and great-grandmother to Marnie. Widow to John. Sister to Jack (deceased) and Ben. Member of Bakewell Quaker Meeting. Volunteer for Oxfam and Help the Aged (Age UK). She listened, she cared. And all whose lives crossed hers – here and around the world – grew brighter.
