HOLMES-GEARY THOMAS and IRIS The marriage of Iris Margaret Geary to Thomas Frank Holmes, both of Great Yarmouth, took place at Great Yarmouth Parish Church, on Saturday, January 26th, 1963, the clergyman was the Rev. Ingamells Tommy, I wish Id known you years ago, Where on earth were you long years ago, I dreamed so much, yet knew so little, Until you set my heart aglow. I wish Id known the way you smiled, As I travelled each long lonely mile, For memory lane would be much sweeter, If I had known you all the while, Im so jealous of the flowers in Spring, For they knew everything about you, They heard your laughter and the songs you sing, Through all the years I spent without you, I wish that I could truly say, That I knew you long before today, But well go on from here together, And I will love you all the way.
