TONY and VAL AMIS are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on October 31st, 2019, which they will be doing vacationing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with their family. Tony and Val were both born in Great Yarmouth. Tony is now 84 years and Val just turned 80 years. After they married in 1959 Tony soon thereafter joined the First Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment. They have since lived in Aden, Germany, Cyprus, Northern Ireland and England, finally settling in Winterton-on-Sea after serving in the army for more than 22 years. They have enjoyed many holidays and cruises and travelled almost around the world to such places as the UAE, Iceland and most of the islands in the Caribbean. They have 3 children (Debra, Neil and Michele), 6 grandchildren (Richard, Jack, Melissa, Stephanie, Alice and Edward) and 4 great-grandchildren (Reggie, Teddy, Caleb and Gracie). From all of us here mentioned and also Paul, Monika, Chris, Lucie, Reece and James we say a huge “CONGRATULATIONS and we love you both very, very much”.
